Rick has been with ProMax since 2013, selling the best automotive CRM/desking solution in the market to prospective dealers and partnering with existing dealers to achieve their sales goals.
Rick’s career in the automotive industry started in 2004 where he worked in sales at a KIA dealership. Rick sold 212 vehicles the first year, 304 the following year, and eventually topped off at 534 vehicles seven years later.
Rick used ProMax software alongside his own personal business plan to great success before moving into management.

Mitch joined ProMax in 2019 as Chief Technology Officer. Prior to joining ProMax, Mitch had leadership roles as VP of Operations for Cox Automotive, and Dealertrack for 8 years. Before joining the automotive sector in 2010, Mitch was Chief Information Officer for Nature’s Bounty.
I have been with ProMax since 2006 . I have worked in various positions in the training department including Trainer, Hybrid, Training Department Manager and now Director of Training. Outside of work I enjoy hanging out with my 5 year old son and wife, traveling and being a diehard Illini fan (which is not fun)
Shane Born has been ProMax’s Chief Operating Officer since 2011. He started in ProMax in 2003 in online software sales where he earned several distinguished sales awards. In 2007 he was promoted to Director of Training and Customer Service. Prior to working for ProMax, he worked in the retail automotive business for seven years in sales. When he isn’t busy at the office, he enjoys playing pool, coaching athletic teams, enjoying the outdoors, and spending quality time with his wife and son.
I have a Bachelor of Business degree in Human Resource Management from Western Illinois University, and have been with ProMax since 2016. Training is a part of my chosen field of study, so I am grateful to be able to put my degree to use at such a great company. I very much enjoy the challenging and fast-paced environment, as well as the teamwork displayed by our staff.
My husband is a police officer, and we have one teenage daughter who is very active in sports—softball, volleyball, and cheerleading. We enjoy cookouts, camping, and most outdoor activities.
Dave Gibson began his ProMax career in 2006 as a regional trainer, based in Ohio, after using ProMax in a Buick-Pontiac-Saturn store in Mansfield, Ohio since 2003. He has also worked in a multi-OEM dealership in several positions. He moved to regional sales in the Northeast in 2012. He transitioned back to training, currently home-based, in 2014.
